Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coach. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors in her final year she was able to make her debut as director (and lighting designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her other work includes a series of game show appearances. In her early years her family lived within Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She attended Pomona College for a short time and then she graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both of which are located in Oregon. In a private note, Post was earlier married to Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was engaged to writer and actor Michael A. Ross with whom her two kids. She is a wonderful actress as well as an ideal wife and mother Post is an inspiration to many people within Hollywood.
