Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania who graduated with a doctorate in master's studies at the University of Miami. She started her professional career as a video coordinator at CBS Sports in New York City. She won the Sports Emmy for her work for WTVJ-TV Miami. She was employed at WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She began working for ESPN in 1993 and was one of the anchors on ESPN2 that was created. She was with ESPN2 from 1993 to 1999, before joining Fox Sports. Her return to ESPN in 1999 and currently hosts Monday Night Countdown.
